MSS Corporate Wellness Program is unique in that it focuses on the health risks of each employee by determining their CardioMetabolic Profile. Most chronic diseases are caused by insulin resistance, which is also measured by that test. Each employee becomes self motivated to learn about how to keep or how to regain their personal health. Most other wellness programs give points and rewards for entering a certain part of a wellness program such as weight loss. Since these programs are voluntary many of your employees who need the information most, don't participate for various reasons.
The MSS (metabolic syndrome study) program is most cost effective with the main expense being a battery of 4 blood spot tests; 1.fasting blood insulin, 2. triglycerides, 3. c-reactive protein, and 4. hemoglobin A1C, which is a test that shows chronically elevated blood sugar. The individual employee can do their own test if necessary. It is a finger poke test that diabetics used to do to check their blood sugars before the automated test was available.
The Corporate MSS Wellness Program can be installed on a single administrative computer where all data will be input and all reports will be run. OR it can be installed in multiple parts with the main administrative component being installed on the main administration computer and with "satellite" components being installed on any computers which are networked to the administrative computer. The satellite installations are installed individually on the networked computers and will be used for data entry only. Various reports are available.
